Purpose of the position
The High Voltage Work Planner ensures optimal technical and organisational preparation of high-voltage projects. He/she ensures that work can be carried out safely, efficiently and according to schedule, quality requirements and laws and regulations.
Core tasks and responsibilities
Work preparation
- Preparation of work on high-voltage installations (stations and cables)
- Drafting and elaboration of work plans, implementation methods and schedules
- Translating designs and specifications into executable activities
- Drawing up work instructions, transition plans and task risk analyses
Technical support
- Technical elaboration and checking of drawings, diagrams and documentation
- Coordinating with engineering on design changes and feasibility
- Identifying technical bottlenecks and making proposals for improvements
- Identifying risks and devising control measures
Safety & quality
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations (VCA, Arbo, BEI/VIAG)
- Preparation and verification of safety documents (LMRA, work permits)
- Quality assurance in accordance with standards, procedures and customer requirements
Planning & logistics
- Drawing up and monitoring detailed schedules
- Coordination of material requirements, equipment and personnel
- Coordinating orders, deliveries and availability of resources
- Drawing up and monitoring work plans and methods
Communication & coordination
- Coordination with project management, contractors and technicians
- Maintaining contact with suppliers, subcontractors and network operators
- Support in work meetings and toolbox meetings
Administration & documentation
- Maintaining project administration and technical files
- Processing changes, revisions and delivery documentation
- Support with delivery and transfer to management and maintenance
Powers
- Identifying and proposing changes in planning and implementation
- Deploying and reserving materials and resources within project agreements
- Stopping or adjusting work in the event of safety risks
Job requirements
Education
- MBO-4 or HBO working and thinking level
- Education in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or similar
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in work preparation within technical infrastructure
- Experience with high-voltage installations (≥25 kV) is a strong advantage
- Experience with projects in a complex, regulated environment
Knowledge
- High-voltage installations, substations and grids
- Technical drawings, diagrams and documentation systems
- Laws and regulations (BEI, NEN, Arbo, VCA)
