To strengthen our team we are searching for an QHSE Manager. 

Your role:  

In this position, you will development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our company's QHSE management system. Your primary focus will be on maintaining a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible work environment while maintaining the highest standards of quality across all our operations on and offshore.

Your tasks will include: 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective QHSE management system in line with relevant industry standards and legal requirements
  • Monitor and enforce safety regulations and standards, both internally and externally. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, non-compliance issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead investigations into accidents, near-misses, and incidents, determining root causes and contributing factors. Implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and deliver QHSE training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors. Ensure that all personnel are adequately trained to perform their roles safely and responsibly.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure QHSE performance. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting areas of improvement and ongoing initiatives.
  • Keep abreast of relevant QHSE regulations, laws, and industry trends. Ensure the company remains compliant with all applicable QHSE requirements.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures. Conduct drills and simulations to test the effectiveness of response plans.

Your profile:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar.
  • Proven experience as a QHSE Engineer, Manager or a similar role in a related industry.
  • Familiar with risk assessments, (offshore) audits and inspections.
  • Knowledge of QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Certification and knowledge in relevant QHSE standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is preferred.
  • If you have experience working in the Renewable, Offshore or Maritime industry we consider this a bonus;  

Note: If you are willing to learn and you are eager to develop yourself as a QHSE Engineer, there is the possibility to work yourself towards the function of QHSE Engineer. Please ask for the possibilities.
